Here's something interesting I found on eBay the other day, a couple hammer shoes made by Herrett's. A smaller one is marked for a S&W M&P and the other a "1950 Series". I assume the smaller fits a standard trigger while the larger fits a semi or full target hammer. The shoe is affixed via a small set screw on the bottom, similar to a trigger shoe. Sort of a poor man's version of a King offset hammer spur. Pretty neat devices but the only thing I was able to find online about them is an old ad from the Dec. 1955 issue of Guns magazine.

Anyone ever seen or used these?

I had one of those 'shoes' for a Thompson Contender with a scope. The scope made it hard to get to the hammer, so it was a nice accessory.

Interesting ... must not have been a big seller for them.
