Hey I just wanted to say hello! I just got my firearms ID card and I was thinking about a S&W .40 and doing some research online med me here! Glad to be here and want to learn! I have shot a couple of times but in truth know very little about guns and they are something I look to enjoy in the future!

If you are just getting interested in guns, stick around, you can learn a lot. Feel free to ask questions. When you do start shooting, take someone experienced along that can teach you about basic firearms safety. We're glad to have you on board.

thank you! Is there a specific section where I might ask some really basic questions while I am putting all the pieces together? The only thing I am sure of is that I want a semi automatic pistol but I just know so little! The only expereince I have is I shot a .40 cal and I shot it well but...that was a few years ago and I like the look of the Smith's.... I just want to learn as much as I can before I make any decisions on a purchase!!
