I know that this topic is usually posted in the lounge but the Major is hardly ever there as he is too busy helping everyone in this forum. I posted it here so everyone, including him, could see it. A big Thank You for your help and advice concerning the 1522 and other topics.:)

I second the above. Advice freely given and definitive, accurate and concise. Big heart and I must say, honourable to his word. A rare diamond of a man.

I too hope Phil allows this to stay here in this 22 forum. Lon is a classy character... with emphasis on character. He readily shares from his vast knowledge & experience gained thru sending many rounds down range over many. many, many years.. Granted, he is an old coot & can be blunt... but that is what I appreciate the most. He doesn't sugar coat his feelings. One always knows where he stands.
