You seem to be pretty up on older movies. Maybe you can come up with a theory for this.
This says it's The Voice From Beyond.

Before downloading it (everything on the site is in the public domain), I wanted to see what it was about. I looked it up on IMDB. No such movie. I googled the title. The only hit was that page.
I did a search on William Powell, Jean Arthur, Kay Francis and Eugene Pallette in the same movie. Got one hit. The Canary Murder Case. And how 'bout that? Canary Murder was made in 1929.
I start watching the movie, on that site, and about 0:10, just for a second or two, you can see CANARY in the title. Then there is a different title, in a different font, placed over it, saying THE VOICE FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE.
Any thoughts on WHY it might be renamed?
