Stopped by to say g'day and thanks for having me in your forum (like you had much choice). I'm a complete noob shooter, but very interested in all aspects of handguns. I'm going to post in the post 1980's section regarding dating my 586 so hopefully someone can help.

You'll find other Aussies already here. I see some in the forum for guns from roughly WWI- the 1960's.

One is a retired NSW cop. He filled us in on the sad fate of many of their replaced/updated guns. Thankfully, some came here. Many were scrapped.
