Received my first Smith a Model 10, as an USAF security policeman in 1975. My next was issued to me by the LAPD a 4 inch Mod 67 Combat Masterpiece in the academy. Upon graduation we all bought backup guns, mine being a 2 inch Mod 60 Chief's Special. Funny how we felt we were well armed with only our 6 rounds and two speedy loaders. While on patrol I saw that many of the old time cops still had 6 inch barrels so I too purchased a Model 14 6 inch. Then came the 92F and 8045. Today my revolvers are left in the safe, with the exception of my two inch, that I still carry.

I enjoy reading what the experts have to say and am always open to new information. Stay safe out there.
