Hi Skor 700 x

Kinda new to reloading and have a question. Is Hi Skor 700x (IMR) powder OK to use for .357MAG loads ? I found a jug at a great price, but can only find data for 800x
I'm using 125gn Rem JSP's and CCI small pistol primers. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, let's go with that. How do you find your recipes at this time for the loads you are going to load? From the internet forums?

If you have a manual, what kind is it?

What do you do when you can't find data for a powder/caliber combination in a manual?

Yes, you can. But it's best for plinking to medium speed loads. If you want top velocity, you need a slower powder. IMR data can be found here http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp

I use HS=70X with light loads and lead bullets. I believe it's a bit fast for any full power loads in 357 Mag. Check out the hodgdon website for excellent presssure tested data.
