Hi vis sights

Looking for recommendations for some high vis sights that will fit the M&P.

I was just checking out the novak green front sight only. Any one use green vs red?

I seem to pick up green better than red so maybe try a little paint first then pick your fiber optic color.

Green fiber optic front with black rear for daytime outside competition.

Great help for old eyes.

TruGlo TFO's for two home guns that require low light capabilities.

Any problems with loose fiber rods is addressed with small amount of clear epoxy.

I put TruGlo TFO's on my M&P 40.
The tritium / fiberoptic combination is great. Easy to get sight pickup in all light conditions. I used green front and yellow rear. The green is easy to pick up while the yellow is almost as easy, but eliminates confusion when getting a sight picture at night.

+1 on the TFOs. I have several different sights on my handguns and these are among the best for both day and night visibility.

I'm in on the TruGlo TFO's. I have them in all green and I tried green front, yellow rear and I much prefer the all green setup. The yellow rears just seem pale in comparison.

Trijicon night sites are pretty good too--I have a couple guns that came with them and rather than pay to swap them out, I was impresssed enough to keep them, although the TruGlos really stand out visually better.

In a worst case scenario, environment wise, involving lots of rough handling, dirt, etc. (out in the field for extended periods), I'd probably carry Trijicons, but I have a full size XDM 45, with all green TruGlos that's been in my car's glovebox for years, through south Georgia's extreme heat, humidity and rough roads and it is just fine

I got a really good deal on my M&P's TruGlos, paying close to cost, with free installation by a S&W trained armorer when I ordered my M&P new. It ups the price initially, but in the long run I usually save by having my sights installed on a new gun when ordering, as well as picking up a few extra magazines and a holster then and there, if needed.
