Hi Guys, Do the CMC triggers have different size pins?

I thought I had read somewhere that they do?

I am thinking of putting one in my 15-22. Cheers

Sorry Mods.

I screwed up i didn't put the heading in correctly it should have said

"Do the CMC triggers have different size pins? "

The size you need is .154. Mostly the older colts had the large trigger pins .170, not sure about any newer ones. Maybe M 16's full auto? But most of the modern AR 15 rifles are .154.

Since the lower on a 15-22 is wider than an AR, you need special, longer pins when you use the CMC. Several selections out there, including JP & KNS, which makes a set specifically for the 15-22. Theirs also is anti-rotation as well as anti-walk. Not necessary with .22 but does look cool. CMC now also offers pins for the 15-22.

I have the KNS pins (Gen2 mod2) in FDE fitted on my set up. They do put a nice finish to a rig. Definitely worth getting if you can ;-). Though it's all a question of how and where. They very hard to source in UK, though help is at hand when needed. :D

Ta!

Thanks again for the info. I am just surprised that you have to buy the "CMC Triggers Anti-Walk Pin Set for M&P 15-22" Separately and not supplied when you purchase the trigger? Cheers

Lol, suspend your disbelief....it'll make it easier for you in the long run. I am still reeling from the set rate £8.50 delivery from Midway UK. Those fortunate stateside owners of 15-22's have the a wealth of bits and bobs at reasonable prices, while we in the UK have ITAR....but shhhhhh at least we have the more accurate rifles ;)

Stonecutter, the CMC trigger that came with my slidefire kit came with pins that fit perfect on my15-22. They came with C-clips on one end and a head on the other to prevent them from walking. I don't know if these pins came specifically for the 15-22 slidefire kit or if you could order them that way. Your best bet is to shoot CMC an email.

At 50yds you may thinks so GhostMutt, but out here in the West where we have to kill running jackalopes, (Giant jack rabbits with antlers, Oregon bred) at a 1000yds behind the back, over the shoulder and through the eye just to survive daily, you britts just don't know what accuracy is. Oh yea, and I do appreciate your cost issues but when parts are this easy to get and the addiction is this high, (no pun intended), well you just have no idea how hard it really is, but hang in there and if we all stick together maybe we can work this out in the end. :D:o:):p:rolleyes:

Cinnwalt, I firmly believe that this is the only way we will get through the darkness of our addiction.

Hi, my name is Mark.
I AM an addict.
I have owned Smith and Wesson 15-22 for 13 months and I love it.
It has been 1 week since I ordered my last set of parts.
But with help and support I will get through this. :D
