High Standard Supermatic Citation

The red bottomed mag (hard to come by) is a plus, and suggests this is an earlier 106 series (1965-68). I've spent considerably less for one of these (also NIB) in recent years, and have seen others in the same $700-800 price range. I picked up a nice Military Trophy (no box) from a small shop late last year for $590 OTD. So from my perspective it's not a screaming deal. On the other hand, I wouldn't hesitate to shell out $1K for a 102 or 103 Citation "space gun".
The Connecticut red bottom magazines were used for the entirity of the 106 design series production and two or three years of the 107 design series.

i used a Hi-standard trophy (citation with a gold trigger) from 1981 to 2013 for bullseye competition. Had a Victor for a short time in 76 kept cutting my fingers on sharp sights no bullseye at that time, wish I would have kept if. My friend who bought it did very well, in league matches, with it. Is your citation worth a grand, personal opinion no maybe $750. If it was a rare 10x then I would say yes. Only my personnal opinion.
