I'd like to put a wood grip on my 4566 to increase the grip width. Can anyone please tell me if this Hogue grip (or any other brand) will fit my 4566 without drilling & tapping? The hole in the Hogue wood grip doesn't seem to match up with the drift pin hole in the original & I can't find any photos of a wood grip with the hole in the right spot, or are the Hogues longer than the original grip?

I do not have the wood but they look the same as the rubber grips which I have added to my 4566. They are the same length and I like them a lot better on the width, and with the curved backstrap. The holes do not match up but they give you the rubber spring holder or seat to make up the difference and which you screw the new grips into. You still push the spring retainer pin into this new seat/holder before you install the Hogues.
