Holster break in thought

Just a thought, Dicks sporting goods has a steamer they use with some glove oil to soften the leather in a baseball glove to break it in. Antony try or think that would work on say a comp tac mtac?

Do not oil a leather holster. It will turn it into a useless leather baggie in no time at all.

Agreed! Practice your draws and it will begin to work like its supposed to.

Maybe use some leather conditioner inside and out like El Paso Saddlery recommends.

I would not want a holster to break in like a baseball glove. A broken in baseball glove is floppy, and doesn't hold it's shape. The last thing you'd want in a holster.

I'd rather have leather wear on the slide than a bullet in my *** because the holster folded over.

Believe me I'm with you guys. Shortcuts lead to nothing good and I do have all my leather holsters broke in the right way. I just thought what if someone tried the steam and it worked.
