Would like some input on a holster for a .40c. ,I am 5'7 180lbs. I am just getting my cc lic. so i dont know if i should get a IWB or OWB. The IWB holsters look uncomfortable so i think i will try a OWB,thanks for any input.
there are nuerous threads on this in the M&P Pistol section. scroll through or ao a search you'll find all your looking for. remember the 9c and 357c are all the same size to fit in the same holster(s)
I have a drawer full of holsters that I do not use, seems I need to either try to sell them off or toss them in the trash. The MTAC Minotaur IWB is high quality and smooth to the skin since it has finished leather on both the front and back and easily fitted into your pants unlike the Crossbreed or the Shield Holster neither near as comfortable as the MTAC!
I agree with you in that I don't like IWB. I recently bought a Don Hume
JIT belt slide for my 3rd Gens & it worked out so well I bought one for
my 40C. Of course you would have to wear a cover garment. I found the
holster on ebay. Try searching "Don Hume". I also pocket carry my 40C in
a DeSantis pocket holster. It works out pretty well depending on the pants. Good Luck!
Another vote for the Crossbreed for IWB carry. Personal opinion you understand, but there's no way to comfortably carry IWB. The Super Tuck comes closest. OWB, I prefer either the Galco belt holster or Fobus paddle for comfort, but you've got to be mindful of printing, especially with the Fobus.
