I 'm sure this has been beat to death but for those that have a pj holster how good is the retention. I bought two shields yesterday for my wife and I looking to try different holster we have used kusiak, harwell, kydex tech, all very good holsters dont like the dual clip holsters always wonderd how good pj holsters really were they seem very popular.

Trust me, they are worth the wait, especially for the price. I have one for my Kahr and the retention is excellent, as stated above. I really like the one piece design as it adds basically no width to the gun.

Check out Garrett industries, their wait is a couple weeks, very nice holsters

Thanks for the help we decide to stay with Harwell after all I have them for most of my guns very nice holster my wife feels comfortable with them also, thanks again for the help.

I just got my PJ holster for my Shield last week and I carried with it yesterday for the first time. I wore it for several hours while out running errands and had no issues with it. It was very comfortable and I eventually forgot I was wearing it. I'm a big guy, 6'1" and 290lbs, and I carried it at the 4 o'clock position. It concealed very well in jeans with a sweatshirt and undershirt. The pistol sits really low with the front part of the grip being covered by my belt. Due to the degree of the cant, the bottom of the grip is above my belt which allows me to grip it and draw it. I'm not going to win any speed draw competitions but then again, it seems to be designed more for concealment than for quick draw. Also, let me say that this is my first IWB holster so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm giving serious consideration to ordering a IWB holster from Old Faithful because you can adjust how far their holster goes down below the belt line. Just my 2 cents.
