Holsters for the 3” 686 with red dot?

I have been looking at adding a red dot to my 3" 686 using the Allchin red dot mount. Is anyone using this set up for carry? What holster are you using?

I have a similar combo of platform, mount and optic. Could not find anything suitable off the shelf so had to custom fabricate a Kydex holster. The nice thing about Kydex is that mistakes can be fixed with judicious use of a low level heat gun with trial and error. Made a funnel for ease of reholstering. It fits well, retention is good but not as comfy as a leather holster. Of course it would help if I lost some weight.

Pretty neat. Thanks for the reply. I think that is the route I'll have to go as well. Can't find anything ready made.

Don't have the correct sized paper so can't scan the pattern into a PDF but maybe this helps. The pattern is oversized enough to allow for mistakes and custom shaping. Once you have it they way you like, you can trim off the excess using a Dremel with sanding drum. Good luck!
