Here it is after assembling, insulation (such as it is) and painting. I just need to put up some more brush around the sides and in the back.

No recliner, no cooktop, no coffeepot, no beer, no windows, no heater ... I thought you were going to go "hunting" from this thing the same way I do! "Honey, I'm going hunting, I'll be back around dinnertime!" ... then get a nap, a beer, a cup of coffee, and if a deer is stupid enough to wander by, take it home.

I would suggest a black backdrop and a black door that wouldn't blow in the wind. With a black backdrop you can get a way with wearing just black if you want to, and camo also fits in well. I would also install shooting screen in all the the opening, it would really go a long way. With the screen installed you wouldn't have to worry about movement inside, and lets face it thats the whole point behind a blind. If we could all sit still in cold, rain, and wind, we wouldn't need the blind. Also throw an old recliner in there, it would be well worth it.

A funny little note. My grandfather recently made a deer blind similar to yours and put in an old recliner he had at his house inside. I found out later that he paid $1200 for the recliner in the early 90's. That really answerd the question of "Why is Grandma so mad??"

How many families did you think can live in this?

I'm waiting for the window a/c unit to appear and a chimney for Santa.
