Hoppes foaming bore cleaner

Anyone use this product? My LGS didn't have the normal hoppes 9 and I thought I would give this a try.

will work ok , I've used CLP foam that cleaned well but a little messy

I used the Outer's version, and it worked well. I place a fingertip over the muzzle, and apply it from the chamber end.

I've used another Brand (Outers I think) and it worked pretty well. Probably very similar (chemically) to Hoppes but don't know for sure. I only use it once in a while and on firearms that get shot only with Copper. I find Copper much harder to remove than Lead.

Make SURE you read the instructions before use.

And the smell is much better.

The Hoppes spray works well, but be sure to let it work and drain with the muzzle down. Otherwise everything in solution winds up in the action and trigger assembly.

Oh, and don't use the kitchen table unless you're single and living alone.
