Hornady GS-1500 Dead On!

I was using the GS-1500 that came with the lock and load kit but bought a Hornady balance beam and check weights this week. The scales match up exactly. Putting 1 grain weights on the scale shows an exact reading of 1.0 grains. Mixed and matched weights and it came out exact on both balance beam and digital. Gonna use both scales but gotta admit I am pleased the digital one is spot on

I have the same scale that came with my Lock & Load Classic kit. It tended to drift badly after weighing a few charges and I no longer trusted it without zeroing before each weigh. I got the RCBS Chargemaster and never looked back. I am hanging on to the GS-1500 as a SHTF scale.

I have an RCBS digital scale and it drifts too much. I went back to the balance beam.

Some day I will return the Digital scale. It was great when it worked, I used it to sort bullets I cast for accuracy. I no longer cast bullets, but sure reload a lot.

Glad your Hornady is working for you.
I have had a couple of Lyman digital scales and they both drifted during use.
I finally ended up with the GemPro 250. Totally stable and accurate.
Recommended.

They don't always..........

They don't always stay steady or accurate for very long. If it does, you are fortunate.

Been good for the last year or so.
I find that that filtering the power cord with ferrites makes them more stable.
I also got rid of the CFC bulbs within the area.
This shows the ferrites on the old Lyman.
