Espositos sausage vs Wholey sausage.
Wholey
I purchased the Wholey sausage it arrived today. There sweet and hot sausage has chunks of meat in it too, besides black pepper and fennel seed. It’s not overly seasoned. The standard hot sausage is on the lower side of a medium hot. But they do offer a hotter hot pork sausage. I’ll try that next. There sweet and hot sausage is $30 for five pounds. There shipping is very affordable too.

Espositos
The Espositos hot sausage was good but again on the upper part of medium hot sausage. But we fried it then put it in tomato sauce and it seemed to get hotter. It’s good quality italian sausage and it’s costs $65 for 5 pounds plus the shipping cost more over Espositos shipping. Espositos hot sausage has only one hot sausage as were wholeys offers two different hot sausages med and hotter.

I think both hot sausages are good. But if your on a budget and saving money wholeys is the one you want for sweet and hot sausage. For a specialty sausage like chicken or breakfast sausage Espositos is the one. There chicken sausage is tops, I purchased Espositos sausage and peppers/onions but we didn’t cook it yet.
