Mr. Nahas had his collection of Air Crewman revolvers and a couple of beautiful Model 53's, plus some other fine S&W's. The Colt Collectors had Python # 80 and 81 on display. Got a couple post cards with their picture on them.
My friend from new Zealand came by for a little reunion. He is involved with the reenactment group pictured below. They also do Vietnam reenactments featuring ANZAC, the joint Aussie, NZ soldiers.
Last year I acquired a very early Aimpoint Electronic red dot that was installed on an SP-1. The semi-obsolete batteries have been hard to ID/buy but Mr. Cooper, Director of Marketing and Communication told what/where to get the proper batteries AND if it didn't work just send it to him for repair, if it is repairable. That was a big one for me.
The former special ops guys were selling some great small batch whiskey and fine cigars. I know, nothing to do with guns, but who's going to tell them the can't be there.
I did not get to see every thing yesterday. There is no way you could see it all in one day, but this old man does not have the legs and feet to do this Sunday. Maybe, with more coffee a more Tylenol I might make another run down town. There are a couple group photos that haven't showed up in my inbox yet.
