Houston Area Revolversmith

Do any of you folks who are in the Houston area have recommendations for a good revolver smith? Don't need exotic custom work, just good action tune. Maybe a hammer bob also. Thanks for your recommendations.

Briley does very good work, just expect a long time to get it back. It was four weeks before the pandemic. Collectors does repairs too. They fixed a Victory for me.

If your gonna have any work done find the best and ship it. Why try to find someone local that might do mediocre work. I would not take my stuff to Collectors and I live in Houston area. I would never send it to smith&wesson either

I have taken my revolvers to Collector firearms. They are pretty good. My advice if you want to expedite the process buy the Wilson combat rebound spring kit, or any other part that you want to get installed. They typically don't have those things on stock, and if they order them will slow down the process. If you take everything with you. They may even have it done the same day

Teddy Jacobson, DBA Actions by T is in Sugarland. I have one pistol that came to me having been worked on by him, so my experience is second hand. Others may have first hand experience.
