The weather was so nice this afternoon that I wandered around the yard photographing some more .41s.

That's odd...I have a 657 and 657s -2, -3, -4, and -5 but no -1 :)

Here's a cruddy photo of some of mine. I've added several. Need to get the new ones out for a family photo.

Impressive collection 41collector.

How do you like the Desert Eagle?
I've talked myself out getting a Desert Eagle and a Contender several times as I don't know how much I'd shoot them.

I do need to find one of the Perfomance Center 657s with the fluted cylinder and detachable compensator like you have.

Looks like my 58 needs to have more kinfolk added to the family.....I gotta get busy
Awesome pics and handguns ya'll...I do admire your collections....

The Desert Eagle is huge and bulky, but very accurate. Recoil is a lot different than the revolvers, I guess with that massive slide coming back.

I've only shot it maybe a dozen times. Not that I don't like it, just don't shoot it much. It's one of the few in the picture that has been shot.

A very nice collection of 41's being displayed here. Eclectic as well.

My photo skills lack but here's mine.

M57 4 inch has wood box and tools.

Here's my 3 amigo's with a 58 on it's way. My favorite "Do All" round. Next to my .45 Colt Commander I trust my 3" 657 as a carry/SD weapon more than any other round. Know what it will do to a deer and have 100% faith in it's takedown power. A 210 gr. Speer Gold Dot is devestating in this caliber. A LSWC at 800 fps is a fun plinking round and a hard cast LSWC at 1100 fps will blow through just about anything, making it a great hunting, large critter killer.

I no longer own any .44 mags as the .41 mag can do everthing the .44 can with a little less recoil. Been shooting this caliber for 33 years and it's my favorite! Bought the 6" 57 as a grad present to myself in 77 cheap as the .44 mag was Dirty Harry priced and I got it for 225.00 with the box and fixins IMS. Bailed alot of hay and milked many a cow for it! It's seen 6 years of constant carry in Alaska as my last ditch bear gun and has 37 deer to it's credit. All short shots and very impressive results.

These photos make me miss my Model 57 and Ruger Blackhawk. I always wanted to find a Marlin lever gun to match calibers with those guns back when I had them. Never found one, and now some of you guys post pictures of several Marlin .41 mags.

My three 41's on the left

Nice pics of all the others shown in the above posts.

57 6" Barrel 1979
58-1 4" Barrel 2010
657 4" Mountain Gun 1998

Hoping there will be more soon!

I picked this one up yesterday. Thanks to forum member Catman253 for doing the transfer.

Funny thing I just noticed on this one - the serial number indicates a 1988 build, but the sleeve says ISO 9001 since 1993.

Excellent find, 41collector. Not too many of those around. In fact that is only the 2nd one I've seen a photo of, have never seen one in person. The other one on GB came from a collector that I knew of, but had not met yet, and unfortunately he had already sold that one to FF by the time we did meet.

I am duly impressed, some folks would like to think the .41 Mag. is not alive.
New grail gun,one like G-Macs S-series Mdl 58.Reminds me of the Colt 357 Magnum.Love me a unshrouded ejector.
I will be adding 657-0 6.5" next week,Have Ruger Blackhawk 7.5" .41 Mag. and recently purchased "Classic 6" Blue 57 got it for a song.$729.00 OTD.

WOW....quite a show of beautiful iron. I feel like I have been to a gun show and did not have to buy anything and pay admission.

I am very happy with the .41 and never feel undergunned when using it over a .44. My compliments gentleman on your impressive collections.
