How about a 41 Magnum Show and Tell?

Here's mine, its not beautiful but it's not supposed to be, it's a working gun. I bought it because in the past thirty years, I've never had a four-inch Model 57. Simple as that. I've been hand loading the .41 Magnum for about thirty years as well. From kitty cat to Lion, I think I've got it down.

Here's my first S&W N Frame Revolvers. I wanted a 41 ever since I hear the music where the devil pokes him with his pitchfork and he shoots the devil with his 41. That music has me all over it for sure. I purchased a new S&W M58 & M57 both in nickel. I'm hooked on the nickel finish figuring someday it will be discontinued and sought after. I cherish my S&W in nickel. I thank God I live in a free country were we can own these awesome guns and respect and pray for those who gave it all so we can be still free. I love this country.

Here is my 657 (no dash) 3" version.

M57 "Classic" , now has Hogues on it. Wood grips + .41 Mag= No Go

Wouldn't mind a 657 of some sort, and Ruger needs to get in gear and make a stainless .41 Blackhawk, in 5.5" of course.[/QUOTE]

Ruger made a 5 1/2 in .41 I own a SBH SS 5 1/2 in Bisley from 2003. Acusport had them done as a special run at least 3 times. I bought mine about 3 years ago and love it. It came to me with a tune up and 2 1/2 lb trigger. I like the 41 so much I now have a model 57 and a Tracker 4 in. SS

Hey gaijin, nice bunch of four inch .41s there. I really like those Herretts grips on your Mountain Gun. :)

Good heavens, don't let anyone get a .41M with a 3" (or less) barrel! Horrors! Gadzooks! All that wasted, unburned powder and no accuracy!

I really dig the poster with the paper plate targets, my kind of shooter. Most of my guns are MOPP (minute-of-paper-plate), but I usually shoot the smaller pie plates (MOPPP?). Cool guns, way cooler people!

Hi Lobo: Great looking 58! What is, and who did, that matte finish? Stay safe partner.

Thank you friend!

Well, it came to me just as you see it. I purchased it from a gunshop up in Alaska. They had it listed in the ad as a parkerized finish. Whoever applied the finish did an excellant job.

I came a cross a standard gray parkerized 58 on AuctionArms that no one wanted...when a nice blue one was selling for $800+- this sold for $430 delivered...turned out to be a first year of production 1964... But I really like your black finish more...great find...
