how about a 44 magnum show

It is wild looking but the more I use it the more I like it. I have a red dot on it now I'm going to try a scope too my old eyes need some help.
I'm not sure what the finish is called, it looks a little different than my other black stainless guns. It's very smooth but not reflective it reminds me of an anodizied finish.
The comp is threaded, I can see the threads but it is on tight I haven't tried to remove it.
I like the 7-1/2 barrel it balances real nice. If I still hunted it's what I would be using this year.

CWH44300,

The muzzle brake serves to tighten the barrel and shroud onto the frame and is not removable for the end user. S&W uses a three piece barrel assembly on this model. The actual barrel itself is a benchrest grade Lothar Walther barrel that is button rifled. I have this model except mine has an all stainless finish. It shoots like a proverbial rifle with iron sights and my old eyes, I am sure will do better than that with optics. The muzzle brake works very well.

Thanks Mike, I didn't know it was available in all stainless, I like the look of the two tone but would rather have all stainless

I got this for hunting on my lazy days. She's a ruger spuer blackhawk in 44mag with a 10 1/2" barrel i picked up used for $329. The shoulder holster was on clearance for $32.
