How about a FLAT LATCH picture thread???

Would anyone care to comment on the variations we see in the pictures? I see three distinct variations. "Flat" with ends that taper down at both ends, Flat which seem consistent (or non beveled), and the "flat" ones which are slanted front to back. Does it depend on gun model, or age or what?

Thanks for the great pictures everyone.

I picked up this S&W model 12 flat latch today.
It's a Police trade in.
It came with "N" frame target grips! Just when you think you've seen it all.
I had these old grips. They seem to fit well.

Yeah . . . and the Diamond stocks . . .

It's always real nice to come across a nice ol' Smith!

Here's another photo of my M36 no dash . . . with all numbers matching. She's a purdy little thing, and sitting on an LP record of the same era. Somehow, I'll bet ol' "Jumbo" would approve. What a great N'Yalin's trumpeter he was! Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he toted one himself, back "in the day!"
