I traded the 2" blued US marked Model 10 from 1967 lettered by S&W as one of 3 sent to RIA for testing to be returned to S&W
I got for it a minty lettered Colt Jr. Commando 2" sent to Oakland in 1943

I think value wise it's an even swap. I would either have bought both or kept the S&W. My understanding is that most of the US marked model 10's were destroyed making a standard issue pistol scarce. One of three sent to RIA for testing would add a premium in my book both in value and desirability. I think it would be harder to find than the 2" Colt.
