How about a Mountain Gun thread

ARMT guy, last summer I purchased this pre-owned S&W #629 .44 mag for about $450.00, no box or papers. It is not a Mountain Gun, but not alot of difference between them. I gave a good bit more last Monday for the .41 in my post above. I hope this helps you some.

Thanks ColbyBruce.

This is about what I was thinking too, but just wanted to make sure.

ARMT Guy,

I think $450 would be a very good price (low) for your gun. (At $450 I might be a buyer, but not a seller.) If you are interested in selling it, I think you could easily get $100 more, especially if listed on the Internet. I do not think I am the best resource among this group for price on this model, but believe I have some idea.

Right now, I've got it listed locally, ( GA ) for $500 FTF, and $560 shipped via FFL. I'll see what happens with it. I'm not in any rush to get rid of it, just clearing out my safe queens.

ARMT Guy, if you have photos of that gun please send them to me, along with any trade interests you may have. My favorite son is always trying to talk me out of my .44 mag. He hasn't seen the .41 mag yet.
