How about some prayer support.....

Prayers from Dallas for your friend Mr. Smith, I hope he's going to be OK.

Sorry to hear this...this guy cant catch a break can he??? Prayers sent out from Maryland.

My prayers for sure. It sounds like some divine help is needed.
May his pain and troubles be behind him.

You know, sometimes I am tempted to feel sorry for myself.

It also seems that every time I feel that way, I hear another story about or meet someone who has had it so much worse than me or who is in immediate need of serious prayer.

It always humbles me and knocks me back into the reality that many folks have had or are having it much harder than I ever have.

Prayers up from TampaBay.

Everybody has trouble, even bad trouble. But somebody will come along with REAL BAD trouble and put things in perspective. It makes you feel lucky to have just your own troubles.

Prayers offered for Steve and those close to him. May his health be restored and his life be long and happy.

Update: I've lost my best friend.

My friend Steve was doing ok the last few months, but the chemo wasn't working and last week he took a bad turn. They decided to try a new approach and put in a port for another type of chemo. They had a lot of trouble getting the port in, and they had a lot of trouble getting him out of anesthesia. He seemed ok for a visit and I was planning on going up today but then he wasn't well at all. His friend called Sunday morning and said that he had passed away in the night. I know it sounds cliche', but it was merciful to end his suffering. I'm really glad for the many years we had as friends. He was just so close to finding some real happiness when he got sick.

Thanks to everybody for your support and prayers. I believe that it helped ease his way the last few months.
