How about those 2" J-Frames...

Those are Altamont grips. They were made for a special order run of J-frame S&W's ordered by Talo Distributors. The gun they are on is not that Talo gun however.

Thanks!

beagle & cocked and locked, you guys are killing me with those sweet 38's. nice collection guys.

cocked & locked are you getting marks inside your trigger guard behind the trigger? just curious nice gun

No Sir, no marks there. The only marks are finish wear on the frame from carrying it daily since November 1997.

The revolver I carry most often these days--a 442 no-dash built in 1993:

Everyone of you posting pics are now responsible for my new hobby of gun collecting.

Some sweet looking revolvers in this thread.

Only one J-frame in the current holdings, as I tend to emphasize larger frames and longer barrels.

This is a new production 649 (yes, has the lock) on the J-magnum frame. I put those hard ebony stocks on it because I thought they looked nicer and a little better proportioned than the factory rubber, but now I'm hesitant to shoot .357 loads in it. Rubber handles may be returning if I find I like to shoot smaller guns.
