I was at the OGCA today. I always go around the room twice to see everything. I did pick up a Safariland speedloader loading block I have been looking for. I passed on a nice 629-1 for $ 800.
I found a 66 no dash 2 1/2 inch for $ 425!!! But looked like someone had taken a dremel tool to it. The seller said he thought someone tried to polish it.
I asked the table raffling off guns for OGCA who to talk to about this gun. They sent me to a guy with a lot of perfect Colts for sale. He stated he would have to see it. The seller (good guy) allowed me to take it to him. Joe said that the only thing to be done was to have it engraved. It would still only be a shooter.
It broke my heart to let go of a no dash 66 2 1/2 inch gun for 425
