I think you did all right. Considering the gun looks to be in nice shape and its nickel-plated, not stainless as advertised. I've seen the N square combats sell in excess of $300 dollars too, so that factor is in your favor as well.

Should work out good for you! Nickel revolvers finish can be affected by certain gun cleaners. Research this to be safe.

I think you did fine. Nickel and combats add to the value. I paid $875 for my four inch 29-3 that had been magnaported and hard chromed a year and a half ago.
