How do I get a 3 inch 640?

Smith catalog's a 3 inch model 60, and I beleive there were a run of 3 inch 640's at one time, but, how would I go about getting a 3 inch 640 WITHOUT a full underlug barrel like the current model 60'? Should I just be happy and buy a 3 inch 60 barrel and have it installed?

They are a little tough to find. This is my 642 and, although I'm sure they made many others, this is the only one I've ever seen. As you can see, the frame is not the "frosted" finish, but a semi-polished factory finish...right out of the box.
