How do you clean pearl grips?

Picked up another mid-'50s Chiefs Special in a trade. I'm in the process of Flitzing the nickel finish -- looking better already. It has pearl grips (I'd bet they're not original to the gun), and I'd like to spruce them up a bit, too.

What do you use to clean your pearl grips? I have never owned a set before and sure don't want to take a chance on using something that will damage them.

Warm water & dish soap is the way to clean pearl jewelry. Should work fine on pearl grips.
