How do you conceal carry your weapon?

J-frame (early 640), right front pocket, in either a DeSantis Nemesis or Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster. Considering a sub-compact .380 or .32ACP as backup or for dress carry (or when my back hurts worse than usual), and it will also be pocket carried.

I've been pocket carrying for a good many years, and prefer it.

Depends on where I am going out what I am doing. Either SofB, aiwb, pocket, or open right hip.

I have carried for over 45 years. Mostly full sized 1911's. When it needs to get tiny, I have my 2.5" M19. Although in the last 15 years I have come to carry an officer sized 1911. I tried IWB but not for me. I go from OWB to shoulder rig. And prefer the shoulder rig w/ reloads under the off side. The thing is the clothes. Jackets are your friend! I could carry my 6" 29 in a shoulder rig in the summer, blue jeans, nice T shirt and a sport coat. Another piece of clothing I rely on is the Safari Jacket. I also use military style utility shirts. Properly starched they look sharp. Not in camo but kaki. I love the pockets!

I usually don't. I live in Ohio so I carry open in front of God and everbody. if I must conceal I just pull out my shirttail. I was blessed with a wide upper torso so my shirts gave room to hang and my service size revolver hides very well

I can't stress enough how much it varies from one person to another. What works for one person can be completely wrong for another. There are far too may variables to say what will work for someone else. We can only comment on what works for us.

I'm of average height, not overweight but do have a bit of a spare tire with broad shoulders and fairly narrow hips.
I have never liked pocket carry as it just doesn't work for me. I can carry IWB, but with my build OWB conceals just as well and is more comfortable. I carry the gun OWB just behind the strong side hip bone at roughly the 3:30-4:00 position. In warm weather I wear slightly oversized, untucked shirts or T-shirts. I can and have effectively carried and concealed up to a 4" N-frame revolver. More often than not, I'm carrying a Colt Commander.
This is what works for me. I can't say if it will work for you.

About all you can do is take the information provided in this thread and make your best guess. And you'll still probably end up with a box full of holsters just like the rest of us.
