HOW DO YOU DEFINE OLD AGE?

If you are retired. I have yet to see a young person having dinner with a bunch of old folk at Luby's at 4 P.M.
If the women you are dating look like your mother when she retired.
When you look at the mirror and you wonder who put a picture of some wrinkled sagging face over your mirror.
When you think being 50 is young.
When you get an invite to your 50th high school reunion.

I'm only 53 but sometimes, my body feels like that of a 90 year old.
... as mine does today too. :( Too damn many aches and pains and one can only take so many pain killers and still function like a normal human being. Fact is that there is your chronological age and then there is your biological age. It's that latter one where I am in the most trouble. :o

Right shoulder pain has keep me from using my indoor range membership for six weeks now... and back pain (possibly more left kidney pain?) had me barely able to walk straight yesterday. Onlookers probably thought I was drunk or stoned.

But obligations go on in my world whether you are up or down on any given day so I'll be hitting the road tomorrow no matter what hurts. I'll be able to get some rest & relaxation someday... perhaps after they bury me! :o

Got few issues but...

Just turned 67 last week and it does not seem as old as it used to. I sleep with my 68-year-old bride {of 49 years} and a C Pap machine. I had two total knee replacements, on the same knee.... arrrg! Nerve damage in my right foot along with the bad knee earned me permanent handicap plates. I wear hearing aides, stone deaf without them {gunfire will do that for ya}.

I got tired of seeing all of the grey and white hair so started shaving my head about 4 years ago but left the grey mustache. My daughter is older than Mrs Robinson but...

Out in the garage is my Indian Springfield aka da Beast and I ride about 20K miles a year. We often tow it behind our Class C motorhome in a nice new Cargo trailer to ride amazing roads all over the country. Got a safe full of guns and a steel footlocker full of ammo. All in all, life is pretty good for this ole boy.

Yesterday would have been my mother's 100th birthday. Sadly she didn't live to see it, lost her a few years after my dad, who passed 32 years ago, on her birthday. He was just 68, and I am now 68, becoming older than he, and I hope to make it to 100. Still working full time, knees and elbows crack and pop, knuckles get sore from shooting and plinking, but my mind is still sharp and I'm not letting anything slow me down.

I forgot this one.
When the cashier asks do you want the senior discount.
I think I was 50 when I first heard that. My lady friend with me about fell on the floor laughing. I have been totally white haired since around 45 years old.
