How do *You* J-frame Carry?

AIWB I used a Lobo Offset belt clip. When OWB a Desantis thumb break scabbard in the high ride position. (In fact I had a shoe repair shop cut off the low ride loop and resew it.) Rarely pocket carry, but have a Mica and Nemesis.

All kindsa different ways! Most of the time in a DeSantis pancake made for a DAO so I have access to the hammer while it's holstered and thumb strapped. I've also got a Master's IWB clip type holster I use sometimes and a Master's black leather horizontal shoulder rig with 2x speedloader pouch. Heck I even use an ankle glove sometimes!

If I'm just around the house though, a J frame almost always lives in my back pocket :)

When I carry a J frame it's a M38 with magnas and Tyler T carried in a pocket.

I've tried pocket holsters of various sorts and find them over bulky and that they add nothing. I just drop the M38 in a pocket with a handkerchief and nothing else.

I have a kydex belt-slide that I carry a 4" 34, 3" 60, and 442 in when I'm outside around the house.
Not exactly ideal, but when I put on the "lounging" pants or shorts for the evening, the 442 goes into a pocket, no holster.

I have had a Smith & Wesson J-frame with me almost every day of my life since 1980

If I pocket carry, it is always a Centennial model in the right front pant pocket. There is no need to use a holster as the pocket itself is the holster.

When I carry a Chiefs Special, it is usually in a Galco Ankle Glove. I have been using the Ankle Gloves almost exclusively since I came across them in the mid to late 80s. The exception is when I belt carry. These days it is usually a Galco Concealable, but I do have a Bianchi 3S Pistol Pocket that I have used often along with a Kramer pancake.

Typically in my strong side front pocket using a pocket holster from Elite Survival Systems. The holster will also work for IWB similar to a Remora, or Sticky Holster. The snubby has a hard time displacing its semi-auto counterparts though.

I carry a 360 AIWB in a Harrys Holsters Icon. Very minimal and the clip Harry uses is great. I did fab a "bump" from a kneeling pad to help keep it close to the body, very comfortable.

I either pocket carry with a Desantis Nemesis or in a Galco Ankle Glove. I prefer the Ankle Glove, it has a retention strap that retains the gun even when running or exercising.

I definitely prefer the shrouded hammer on my S&W 638 to any exposed hammer. I'll occasionally carry my Taurus 605 and that hammer spur acts like a fish hook in a carp's mouth.

I don't know what a Taurus 605 is, but with S&W J-frames, I tried them with and without bobbed hammers for years, but mostly with unbobbed hammers. I realize the bobbed hammer concept sounds good, but carry one with a hammer for at least ten years and see how often the hammer snags on something. I'm not denying it hasn't happened, but some have a need for something to fret over. This argument can easily be relegated more to armchair theory than real life.
