When I completed selling off a bunch of my holsters I said I would
post my "keepers". Just so I don't get too tired, and you don't get
too nauseous, I will just post one gun a day and the 5 holsters I
have kept.
Here are the holsters I kept for my 4" N Frame, Model 29:
Myres 614
Viking cross draw
Gaylord Federal Speed Scabbard
Idaho Leather
Old West Leather

N Frame Holsters

Those are some very nice holsters above.

Back when I carried a 4" N Frame (Model 58) on the job, I carried it in a Hoyt break front holster. I always felt that it was about the best holster for security under normal circumstances. I also use a Hoyt for my K and J frame revolvers when on the job out of uniform.

to school. Then 2 years with the 3rd RSM, and the last year at NSA in
Arlington, VA. I Wasn't married at that time and the girls in D.C.
outnumbered the boys about 10 to 1. Tough duty. 1952-1956

My only holster Pic

This was my only available holster pic, and with an N frame MG. Holster is a Cheyenne Saddle Co. Tom Three persons. Forget who did the knife sheaths. Have similar rigs for my Colts and other Smiths…enjoy.

I was on Santa Ana PD back when Hoyt was in Costa Mesa. Used to go over there all the time. I carried a model 27 in a Hoyt and later on my model 19 in a reverse cant Hoyt. Love those darn things.

Wish I had a picture, also wish I had the holster/belt: A Berns Martin break front for my Highway patrolman with a BM made belt that they put two grommets in so I could swing my 1911 holster from it!
The good old days..............still got the gun though.
