I load for only 12 right now but I am intentionally trying to keep the caliber count down. I have passed on some guns just because I don't want to load for another caliber.

I hear ya on that! I saw a really sweet 625-7 a couple of weeks ago, wanted it badly but turned it down because I don't load for the 45LC. Then I found out I can have the cylinder machined for 45ACP Moon clips......uh oh!

Aside from those calibers I no longer load for (41 Mag, 35 Rem, 22 Hornet) I'm down to 17 calibers, most fairly common. The oddballs among the crowd are the 7.7 Jap, 218 Bee and 375 Winchester. My 7-08 Remington dies will be here tomorrow!

I'm gonna have to add another rifle soon.
My buddy wants to go to Wyoming in the Fall of '13.

.38 spcl, .357 mag, .44 spcl, .44 mag, .30-30, .45-70.....so six for right now.

Will be adding .30-06, 9mm, and maybe .32-20 as soon as I pick up some dies for the right price.

I've been reloading for 32 years now. By my count, I currently load, or have at one time loaded for 20 rifle and 14 handgun calibers.

Rifle calibers range from .204 Ruger to .45-70 and handgun from .32 S&W to .454 Casull. Some are loaded quite frequently, some only every few years or so when I get the itch. Reloading does make shooting the oddball calibers much more enjoyable.

Well, for me at least, there's a difference between how many calibers I do load for, and how many I theoretically could load for based on my dies.

I currently load for about a dozen calibers with some regularity. maybe another half a dozen semi-frequently, another 4 or 5 occasionally, and I've got another several dozen (!?) sets of dies that I've either retired, or have never used.

I have a weird thing for wildcats though and that accounts for a lot of the dies I've got. I don't have guns in all of these calibers, but I at least have the dies and chamber reamers for most of them, (some I've never even made brass for!) for whenever I get enough round tuits to get them all done. Some of the more interesting wildcats I have dies for include:

22 CCM
22 long snapper
224 Harvey Kay-chuk
22 flea
22-32 long
22-32 magnum
6mm shortround
257max (essentially an extended 256 WM)
25 hornet
25 flea-bite
30-38
30-44spl
32-38
32-357

There are a bunch more that I have dies for, but I can't even remember all of them right now. I guess maybe it's a sickness. We shouldn't even talk about bullet molds.

Well I'm just in the setting up and studying point in my loading life.... but I'm setting up to load 38 spc, 357mag,an 22 jet. Maybe followed by 45acp in the future
