Well in my household we only have 3 S&W's out of 9 firearms. I would imagine for all members though it has to be a lot. I do not really know why you would be a member of this forum without owning one so you figure out the amount of people on this forum and even assuming they all own only one (which is not true), you'd probably have a lot still
I try not to think too much, it makes my head hurt.

If you look at the bottom of the home page it gives you statistics. there are around 10,411 active members with a total number of members at 127,540. I think the tens of thousands would be a closer number. (that's counting the ones at the bottom of the lake too......guns, not members

I only told my wife that I have enough value in S&W's to pay for one year in a nursing home. That does not include the rest of my firearms. Of the individuals I know, I would estimate the number in the hundreds of thousands.

This sounds like a federal snooping thread. I have NO guns or ammo., the aliens took them.
I don't own a thing, I lie about what I own or used to own just to fit in with you guys. All the other sites threw me out. About 4 times a year I stay at a Holiday Inn Express just to acquire the knowledge to be able to lie effectively!

I've got three of my favorites. A 686 4in barrel 357, a 1911 E-series stainless and a Model 39 nickel in pristine condition. I love them all!!

Not to be rude but asking a person how many guns they have
is not a good idea or considered Kosher on here or for that
matter any gun forum. Its nobodys business but mine how
many guns i have. S&W or other wise. Some folks on here
might think the person asking might be from a less than
respectable organization looking for "counts".

It's an interesting thought, but probably not an altogether appropriate question to ask. Kinda like asking someone how much money they have in the bank. We could all speculate on a total number owned by forum members, but that would really not be time well spent. I would venture to say that not all S and W owners are members here, and that not all members own S and Ws.
Please don't get discouraged by the responses though. We need more of the members to be active. It's what keeps this place interesting!
