How many handguns do you take to the range each time?

My three defense handguns. My CZ75D Compact, my Sig P290, and my model 37 airweight. I train with these because the CZ is my old friend, the sig and the 37 both have the same trigger pull, and have trained to shoot these as backup/ hideout. At least once a week, 50-100 rounds.
And my old Model 48, that's like ( I imagine) visiting an old girlfriend that just gets prettier. Not always, but always good.

I will take a minimum of 2 and up to 5, depending on the time I have available & if I have something new-to-me that I need to road test

well ...... good question

I usually take just 2 guns now bec I want to shoot at least 150 - 200 rounds through each gun and I want to improve each time, not just throw lead downrange.
So, every session i try to challenge myself to improve.

I shoot the ones I carry or are by my bedside more often than the ones that aren't. For example, I have 3 Pythons so they get shot maybe twice a year. My carry / bedside guns I shoot at least twice a month or more.

You have to shoot the personal defense guns more bec those are the ones you train with (you do take an ocassional class, right? - like a CQB class or a Low Light class or a Moving targets class) and the ones you will need in a fight.

It varies... sometimes it's "German Day" with P-38, Luger, Broomhandle and PPK. Sometimes it's "Colt Day" with Python, 1911s and 1908.

The only gun that makes every trip is the Model 1955... I just love that gun :)

a few depending on which match is coming up
