How many Mags?

I have 12 X 25 round mags, that's what I determined I would carry. 10 fit into my Condor tactical vest, 1 fits the NcStar buttstock pouch and 1 to load in the rifle, that's 12. This is just for the 15-22 but all my guns have several spares.

4 x 20 Round Salem 6 Magazines
1 x 25 Round OEM Magazine
8 x 35 Round Plinker Tactical Magazines
1 x 50 Round Black Dog Machine Drum

Just tell her that in case of another high capacity ban the mags could be worth a fortune and you would gladly take her shopping when the payoff comes.

Magazine rules
1) If you know exactly how many you have, you don't have enough.
2) If you know approximately how many you have, you are doing OK.
3) If you have no clue, you just need a couple more.

I have about a dozen or so 25 round mags. I really don't need this many but during the sandy hook shenanigans I was able to trade 15-22 mags for 30 round AR mags. In the 3 years I've had my 15-22 I've only worn out one mag in 3-4K rounds. They are pretty durable.

Damn it, I thought 2 was extravagant, LOL. Seriously though, I have 2 25 round mags for the 15-22. I need pick a few more up but I think having only two slows me down a bit at the range.

Geez, I don't have a single magazine-fed firearm that doesn't have at least six magazines for it.

I have 4, 25's and really don't see the need for more than that. My speed loaders are my 10 and 12 yo.

Yeah, when my kids finally realized that chasing errant tennis balls wasn't the same as actually playing tennis, I had to give up the sport.

True enough. It's already started with sports and buddies but no girls yet. I'm lucky that they still "want" to spend time with dad, and oh, BTW the 22 is really their gun!

I have a minimum of 10 mags per firearm I own. Learned my lesson when there was a run on ar15 mags and prices were a $100 or more. Just tell her it saves money in the long run.
