if a person (not me!) wanted to get an FFL just to be sure that the two Gunbroker sales that they might make over the next year or two are perfectly legal:

How much to sign up as an FFL?

How much to maintain each year?

Will the BATFE allow new "kitchen table" FFL's?

BTW, with all the record keeping requirements, the potential for anytime inspections and the putting of my name and address on the BATFE website (I bet many of you didn't know about that), there is no way I would want to be a kitchen table FFL.

A bit bored tonight are you? Cabin fever already?

Unless you are "In the business of" buying and selling guns and have a sales tax license, don't bother to waste your time filling out an application. Bite the bullet and take the time to make friends of the local gun shop to handle your transactions. If you are interested in guns greater than 50 years old, a C&R License (03 FFL) gives you quite a bit of freedom, as you are not "in the business of" buying and selling guns.
