Saw them in 1982 at The Hollywood Bowl when they toured. Did all of their hilarious skits at the time.

In college Eric Idle came to my college to speak. He was hilarious but the thing I remember was him talking about the BBC censors. They wrote a skit where a character said "sh**" 3 times in a row and it was censored. Sent it back with one time and it went through.

I've got it on DVD and just watched it again today. While I find parts of it funny, after watching it at least a half dozen times over the years, I still don't "get it as a whole".Completely disjointed and confusing. Getting older, I even activated the subtitles to help pickup some lines I thought I had been missing but it didn't help.
I guess it's just not my cup of tea.
