if you know how much you have then you dont have enough...period![]()
So, just enough for one trip to the range?I try to keep about 2,000 rounds of .22LR, 300rds .45, 300rds .40, and about 100-200rds .380 and 150 12 ga.
In my state you can only have 10k rounds of rimfire and 10k of centerfire 5 k shotgun and 16 pounds of smokeless powder without a special permit.
The first thing I did was to apply for a special permit which allows 30,000 rimfire and 50,000 of centerfire and 50k of shotgun and 48 pounds of smokeless powder, of course I disagree with the 10,000 primers (it is easy to get there)
I am not there yet! maybe 10k rimfire, and 20k various centerfire, I bought about 3k 30.06 before the prices went up! I only have a couple hundred rounds of 12 gauge.
I keep it all locked up in several stack-on gun cabinets.
