For one of those .22 mini revolvers I could make 100rds last 20 to 40 years. I think I have shot 5 to 10 rounds in 10 years in mine.
If you can count how much you have you don't have enough.
Yep, so do I. There is a small Excel spreadsheet in both of my handheld computers. It is not always perfect but, it gets reconciled every so often and gives me a warm fuzzy about what's on hand. You don't keep an inventory and update after you shoot? (lol … but I do)

How much is in a brick. I agree with all the posters who say you never have enough. There's something you just can't explain about the compulsion to buy more ammo. The cheapest 22lr I have seen online is $39 per 500 for cci standard velocity but of course shipping was like $16When ammo was plentiful and a brick of .22LR was under $10 (as recent as 2008) 2 or 3 bricks were more than enough. When a shortage that is as deep and long as this on hits 20 or 30 bricks are not enough. I still have plenty of .22LR ammo but that's only because I'm shooting it very sparingly so in effect, I have no ammo either. What good is having ammo if you're afraid to shoot it because you don't know when you will be able to replace it?
How much do you keep of each caliber?
