Stopped by a store in the middle of nowhere and they had a 5906 with 1 mag and round guard. Asking $399 before tax/Background check. So OTD it would be around $440.

Whats a good price? It is in 90% condition. No box, or papers.

MY LGS has 2 of them. 1 is $399 1 is $359. tax is usually negotiated into OTD price. So I would say about average around here anyway.
Some are reporting increased prices in the $500+ range. Not here.

Again, it is all about condition. The better the condition, the better the deal is considering the price.

I would say that is probably an average price based on your assessment of condition. However, your 90% and my 90% could be worlds apart.

For a dealer I would say that's a buy price offer less OTD and see what happens , Here in the Toledo area you just don't see many of the 5906 and when you do there 450 plus in price.

yeah man snatch it up, here in tennessee you'll pay 400 no box and one mag, with box and paperwork and 2 mags around 500, good deal

around here a nice 5906 with 2 mags will fetch upwards of $500.....I sold one back last spring with 3 mags for that with an extra new S&W grip....prices have cooled a little..but not much...RTG guns seem to be more desirable...I know they are for me...offer $400 OTD .....and ask him to throw in a box of ammo...what's the worst that can happen??;)
