I put down 75% - 100%.
I normally carry 100% when I leave the farm. I do not carry all the time when at home however. Depends on what I am doing.

Everywhere all the time is the response you will get the most.

Those that think their crystal ball is working properly are mistaken.

For some the will and the need to protect themselves isn't as important. This comes from a lack of understanding or they refuse to see the world as it really is.
15 years later and everywhere all the time might have been the largest percentage but it wasn't over 50%.

52% of the people that responded to that poll responded with answers other than everywhere and all the time

And since I resurrected this thread I might as well add that since I originally posted it I've retired and I moved out of the city.

I only leave the farm if I have to but I'm outside doing things (mostly hanging out with the chickens or the neighbor's cattle) every day and I put my gun on every morning when I get dressed and I take it off every night when I put on my pajamas.

That way of something comes up where I have to go into Hooterville, like I will today for milk, I don't have to go put it on to go anywhere.

Always; including the Sunday morning before last, when someone, who had previously concealed himself from view attempted to assault and rob me after bum rushing into the bank lobby when I unlocked it to leave after I withdrew money from an ATM.

Always. If it's not on me it's next to me. Unless it's illegal.
This. Goes on with my pants, comes off with them at night. The SOLE exceptions are if I'm going to a prohibited area (courthouse, federal building). Restaurant/store with a "no guns sign"?, take my business elsewhere no harm no foul. If it is not physically on you and available ALL the time you're just "playing" at ccw-like the dudes with the macroblaster with optics/lights and 3 extra mags who "left it home (or in the truck) today. Carrying a weapon is serious business and needs to be treated as such. I live on a farm and many days never leave the place. Pistol is still on me-always.

Had to carry all the time for thirty years, but stopped almost completely twenty-five years ago. Very seldom carry a handgun on my person. I keep a snubnose S&W .38 in my car console and one in my office, so I guess I'm either a slight paranoiac or minimally prepared, maybe both. No lectures, please. I'm comfortable with my choices. I don't dream of theoretical Internet gunfighting and am not obsessed with "what ifs" on any concealed carry topic. I suppose that makes me a little weird here...

No lectures, please.
What makes you think somebody's going to waste their time trying to lecture you ?

All of that makes sense to me. I have residual risk from past 'customers' and their organizations or I likely wouldn't carry much.

So long as folks don't try to undermine my right to carry in the manner of my own choosing, I'm just fine with their right to choose not to carry, but there's no particular "virtue" in it.

I've already said it but I put my gun on when I get dressed in the morning, mostly so I don't have to if I need to leave.

But there's also predator control or a pissed off 2000 pound bull.

In all seriousness, The odds of a home invasion are pretty close to nil but if it does happen the nearest cops are at other end of that road.

Which is at the other end of this road which is my road.

And I want to
