Here is a M25 -7 that I took to the range with a bunch of 280gr LSWC fueled by a healthy charge of my Surplus Unique powder.
I didn't really do a "clean up" on it, just wiped it down after this session. Was ready to go again in about 5 minutes.
Just a soft dry rag and that was all it took to get it to look like the later pictures.
The bore was bright and shiny, the chambers could have used a patch or two though.
I also have a picture sequence of a M14 that we shot a bunch of loads through before cleaning up:
Not sure of the load used for the M14 though. Probably something with lead and Bullseye.
My solvent for both was a homemade concoction called Ed's Red.
Oh, I also made up a batch of that stuff today. Cost me $10 for ingredients and it made a gallon! How much is store bought? $10 for 10oz?
I have another group of cleaning pictures. I will have to look for them. Post them later.
