I think this poll to gather info to discredit Pres. Trump someway. At 69 I don't trust anyone any more

41 feeling like half the folks who chimed in and in the process of retiring from the military after 21 years. Not yet ready to fully retire yet, still got a few years of employment in me

That's MC now. Me thinks.:D

There's no Photographer's Mates now either? Wow, I really need to pay better attention. What's going to go next? Hull Technician? Then who are ya gonna call when the heads back up?

My oldest daughter did 8 years as a CT. I never knew exactly what her job was...she used to say she could tell me, but then she'd have to kill me.;)
Now my 17 year old daughter is thinking of the Navy as a career.

And probably she wasn't joking.

Man, I've been out of touch. I didn't even know TM's had been absorbed into MM's, and I was an MM! I'm old enough that I served my whole enlistment on a steamship and when I was stationed at Pearl, we had an Aggressive class wood hulled minesweeper based there, but I don't remember the hull number or name.

I guess the BT's have gone the way of the Sailmakers and Ships Carpenters too. Sad...but inevitable.

Now you got me. Is it the Agile or the Aggressive class?

We had 4 of them. Always thought they were Agile class.

Edit. Boiler guys probably but for the other 2... the USS Constitution is still a commissioned ship.:D Or do you outsource?

May have been Agile class. It was berthed over at West Loch near the Navy Magazine at Lualualei. We would steam by it when we visited the magazine before a deployment.

Well, it goes with being.......

Boy you guys are a bunch of old farts. I'm not old, just a fart. (I was in the second highest group)

It goes with being a firearms nut. Old people start having digestion problems. When I'm not listening to the sound of gunshots, I'm listening to the sound of my own farts.

Hearing protection is required for both activities.:D

Turning 60 in a month.
Feel better than I have in 30 years. Suffered with a health issue for years and years and finally found some relief and healing 4 years ago with unconventional medicine.
The one thing I noticed though is the older I get, the more time I spend praying.
