HOW on EARTH do you take off the flash suppresser ???

Recieved my Tacticool22 barrel nut wrench and vice jaw clamp combo last week, BTW many thanks Jody!, but had not had the oportunity to use them till yesterday as I was on honeydo duty - spreading gravel on our driveway over the weeked in addition to getting the contractor started on our bathroom remodel

My bench vice is an old 3 1/2 inch Columbian, but it worked great with the barrel vice jaw clamp. Had to smack the vice handle with my "big" hammer a couple times to get it good n tight. Took off my FH sos I could remove the end cap and replace the factory crush washer with a peel washer. Used a cresent wrench on the flats of the FH and gave the handle a good smack with my "big" hammer and it came off nice n easy.

If all else fails, use a bigger hammer .

I had a similar problem with my flash hider. Try degreasing both the barrel and the vice jaws and see if that helps then really crank down on the vice. Some of those flash hiders seem to be installed with super-human strength.

i had the same problem... put some vice grips on the WASHER (not the barrel, not the flash hider) that is between the flash hider and the barrel, then a crescent wrench on the flash hider. for some reason it came right off for me when i finally did that.
